Arturo Telle is Europe's most award-winning underwater photographer for the past 10 years . Vice-champion in the CMAS World Championship 2011, macro - world champion in 2009 and 2011, winners of the regional and national championships in Spain, as well as many international championships , such as Eilat Red Sea World of Underwater Images (2007 and 2009) , Open Fotosub Isla de El Hierro ( 4 times : 2006, 2007 , 2012 and 2013 ) , Open Fotosub Isla de Lanzarote (2007 and 2008). He regularly publishes his photos and articles in Spanish and German dive magazines, and thanks to his extensive knowledge in marine biology, he has contributed his photos to many field guides. In 2000 he discovered a new to science shrimp species which has been named after him. "
